What is Bullying?

According to the definition provided by the American Psychological Association, “Bullying is a form of aggressive behaviour in which someone is intentionally or repeatedly causing harm or injury or discomfort to another person”. There can be various forms of bullying be it physical, mental or emotional.

We all have been through times when we were bullied by someone or the other in any of the three forms mentioned above. So the question which may arise in your mind, “Does bullying always involves people?”. I would say “NO”. Bullying doesn’t always have to involve someone to bully you. Rather life can bully you too. Maybe not physically but rather emotionally and mentally. As said by Lady Gaga it can be in any form.

I’ve been actually really very pleased to see how much awareness was raised around bullying, and how deeply it affects everyone. You know you don’t have to be the loser kid in high school to be bullied. Bullying and being picked on comes in so many different forms.
